At Aurevia, we actively follow the development of laboratory medicine as we want to produce clinically relevant EQA schemes to serve clinical laboratories and point-of-care sites. We regularly launch new pilot studies and aim to expand our Labquality EQAS by Aurevia portfolio with 5-10 new EQA schemes each year.
We are proudly launching this autumn's pilot studies. Registration for these pilots is open until 5 and 15 September 2025. More details and registration links are provided below. The pilots are free of charge for a limited number of participants.

Phosphatidyl ethanol in blood (PEth)
This EQA scheme for Phosphatidyl ethanol in blood (PEth) is suitable for different assays and includes 3 lyophilised whole blood samples that should be analysed as regular patient samples. The scheme will be distributed in October 2025. The deadline for registration is 5 September 2025!
West Nile Virus, antibodies
The samples in this scheme are serum samples, and the scheme is suitable for different tests. Results will be evaluated according to method groups based on virus serology principles and result levels. The scheme will be distributed in October 2025. The deadline for registration is 5 September 2025!
